Former Chicago White Sox infielder Yolmer Sanchez signed a minor-league deal with the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday afternoon, according to a report from The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal. According to Rosenthal, Sanchez chose the Giants' offer because of the "chance to be (their) everyday starter at second base," despite multiple offers of guaranteed money from other teams.
