Phillies fans have been clamoring for Matt Klentak to add a difference-making starting pitcher before the trade deadline. The left-hander pitched seven shutout innings to backbone a 4-2 win over the San Francisco Giants in front of 32,217 at Citizens Bank Park on Tuesday night.
