Former Cy Young Award winner and three-time All-Star Jake Peavy, who has not pitched in the majors since 2016, plans to retire, according to reports. Peavy, 37, last pitched for the San Francisco Giants in 2016 in what was his 15th season. Peavy entered the league with the Padres in 2002 after being drafted in the 15th round of the MLB Draft three years earlier.
