With the Giants' infield depth already thin -- as both Brandon Belt and Pablo Sandoval are sidelined with injuries -- San Francisco dodged another major setback when second baseman Chase d'Arnaud avoided serious injury after fouling a ball off his left knee in the fourth inning of Tuesday afternoon's 2-1 loss to the Astros.
