Pablo Sandoval took a Major League mound for the first time on Saturday, pitching the ninth inning of the Giants' 15-6 loss to the Dodgers at AT&T Park. It was the first time a position player came in to pitch for San Francisco since July 4, 1991, when utility player Greg Litton pitched the ninth inning of the Giants' 15-6 loss to the Astros at Candlestick Park.
