Cain has seamless transition back to rotation

Giants manager Bruce Bochy had an inkling that things would work themselves out, that perhaps Matt Cain would make a start in the Giants' rotation sooner rather than later. On Saturday, Johnny Cueto landed on the 10-day disabled list with blister pains. And on Wednesday, Cain took his spot in the rotation, allowing three runs and five hits over six innings to give San Francisco a shot at a win.
