In his return from the disabled list last Wednesday, Matt Cain allowed five runs, including three home runs, in 2 1/3 innings against the Red Sox. He'll hope to minimize that type of damage in his next start against Cody Reed and the Cincinnati Reds at AT&T Park on Tuesday night.
