  Hunter Pence takes a major step toward a return to the Giants tonight — in his first game action since sustaining a broken left arm on March 8, he's batting third and playing right field at Triple-A Sacramento. Pence is expected to play the first five innings of the River Cats' 7:05 p.m. game
