Official Los Angeles Lakers Thread

Yes, he's boys with Jay Z but from a basketball standpoint they'd have to rebuild around him again and waste another few years of his career. I think it would be a bigger story for Lebron if he won in Cleveland, storyline wise because he's from Ohio. I don't think he's gonna land in LA or Boston. And I think the whole going to NY is overrated. The Knicks haven't been relevant in a long long time. There games are never on TnT, ESPN, or ABC. I know if he went there they would but that's with any team he would go to.
I agree Angel. It would be a bigger story and a bigger accomplishment if Lebron stays and wins in Cleveland. Will it happen nobody knows just yet
Go lakers!!!
go kings!!!!!
Lakers and Odom have productive talks.

I hope Odom doens't sign. Not for the lakers sake but for the rest of the NBA's sake. If Odom signs and everyone stays healthy there might as well not even be a season next year and just hand over the championship to the lakers.
Omg, even though I already knew this thread existed...I saw the thread listing and thought it said Official Los Angeles Dodgers thread. And I almost vomited.
Hey Stoney.

Looks like Andre Miller is signing with Portland. They had money to offer Odom, good for LA.

Although I could definitely be on board with a thread bashing them.

MJ says Kobe is the best player since him and still the best player in the league right now and criticizes Bron.
Odom leaning toward Heat offer

Lamar Odom is leaning strongly toward accepting the Miami Heat's contract offer and leaving the Los Angeles Lakers, multiple sources with knowledge of the talks said. Odom has not reached a final decision, the sources said, but there is growing belief he will ultimately return to the Heat unless the Lakers improve their current offer. "It's close, but it's not done," said one source.
