Yup.. those would be the 2 big names out there. I wouldnt be shocked, however, if neither are actually traded. I think its 60-40 that Doc is traded and 50-50 that Matt goes somewhere.
I kinda want doc to go to the dodgers, only because they would have him (hopefully) for 1 year and they would have to give up a ton of talent that will hurt in the long run

eh?

I think its very doubtful that the Dodgers will be where he goes. They would never trade Billingsley, Kershaw, Broxton, or Kemp in any deal for Doc and I doubt Toronto would make a trade with them unless they got one of those guys back.

I think its going to be the Phillies. They have a lot of talent in the minors and seem to be the most
logical trade partner. If they get Halliday they could potentially be looking at 3 in a row!
Adam LaRoche got traded to the BoSox

"According to Dejan Kovacevic of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, the Red Sox have acquired Pirates first baseman Adam LaRoche."

Boston got him cheaply. He has always been a big 2nd half hitter and could have helped the Giants I believe if the price was right ( like it appears to have been).
f it trade for holliday whos heating up. as long as beane is not asking for bumgarner, posey, alderson or vilalona. i'll give him a bunch of 2nd tier prospects and if we dont resign holliday we'll get back 2 1sts. we have a shot of resigning holliday with all the money coming off our payroll next yr.
Can anyone tell me why on earth are the Blue Jays trading away Halladay? is he not happy there?

jays management know they cant compete with the sox and yanks so theyre willing to trade away their best player who is signed till next yr so they can stock up for the future with a great farm system. halladay is willing to leave because he knows he has no shot to win a ws in toronto.
toronto is booboo
i dont want either HallaHolli-day
