What are your thoughts on Bonds?

no..

next question..
Bonds is the greatest hitter I'll ever see and probably the greatest hitter you'll ever see.

When he came to bat, it was a show. People would change the channel and watch the Giants game when Bonds was batting. It was nuts the effect he had on the rest of the game...

Willie Mays was the greatest hitter I ever saw play. Mays didnt have to take roids and played at the Stick when it was just murder on right handed hitters. The wind would always blow in hard from left and he actually had to change his attack to go to right center and right field.

If Mays had played in the small parks that Aaron played in and hadnt lost 2 years to the military he would have easily have been the homerun king. No question about that.

Bonds had the numbers (albiet it tainted) but Mays is still the #1 Giant and the best hitter ever to put on a uniform in my opinion.
I liked to watch him hit. Perhaps more than any other player....ever. Nobody had the plate presence that Bonds had, that I've ever seen anyway.

I really don't care if he was a d**khead.

That being said, I don't think he could help this team. He's too old, knees are shot, ect., ect.

While John and I disagree on many things, there is no argument against what he just said. Watching Mays at the Stick and on the road was a treat. He was a pleasure to watch.
Happy Birthday Barry!!

Come on Ron... I didnt know you were wrong on that many things. Well.. you got this one right!
Remember that article right after the AS game where Timmy was saying he hopes the Giants don't make any trades because he is worried about messing up the chemistry of this ballclub?

Wonder how he would feel about Bonds coming back? :)~

Thank you Barry for all the memories and excitement you brought us for all your great years as a Giant. But, it's over, time to move on.

I'll pass on a Barry return.
Happy Birthday Barry.
