I love the enthusiasm but AR didn't even have to slide into first.

Great win though.

Gotta love how Bobby Cox got ejected. The hitter obviously threw his bat out there to bunt and then after ball went by did this "Ole" thing like he was faking. Both should have been ejected at that point.

Btw who is Wellemeyer and what happened to Bum? Bum get injured or something?

Wellemeyer is the 5th Starter. We got him from StL this offseason. He signed a minor league contract and was the third choice to make the team as the number 5 starter. Then he went out and had the best spring of any of our pitchers. Meanwhile, MadBum simply showed that at 20 he wasn't ready. His velocity is down and I think I read that in his first start at AAA, he gave up 10 walks.
