We can still sign him. The Cards are bringing in McGwire (they say anyway). He's way more talkative when interviewed. Better plate discipline than Hensley Muelens, too.

Sure, or a goodwill ambassador. If he's around the team and has a good attitude it would help attendence and revenue. There's only so many more years of Mays and McCovey coming out. Will being there brought out some fans for the days he was there. Do you think Selig would punish us for reaching out to him if retired?
