sounds like I should be glad I missed this game. Someone needs to ask Bochy why he thought this alignment would work better than what we had the last two days. WOW, way to go.

Yeah I went to every game of this last series. (knowing if we swept them and got in I would always remember these games) I have to say that's what my friend was saying prior to and threw out the game last night. Hard to argue with the reasoning either, if it aint broke why fix it.

I have to say that even though they didn't come through, I really appreciated the rally in the 9th last night. It was the most intense live baseball I've been to this season. (we were going crazy) They also showed me that they can be a team that gets shut down for eight innings and turn around and rally for the win in the ninth. I really don't know if I believed that before last night.

I know post season is a long shot now, but hey it's been a long time since I've gone to games in September and gotten that excited. That alone makes this a good season for me.

i understand your excitement about our season, it has been great and we finally have a winning season. However, i am tired of getting my hopes up. I am tired of everyone settling for the season we are having this year. I've said it before until our team gets a killer attitude, where nothing else other than the playoffs is acceptable we will not be back there. That is how the teams in the East are. Look at the Yankees, Red Sox, Phillies, etc. These teams compete for the World Series year in and year out. The Yankees don't make the playoffs and they go out and work on the areas in which they were weak in last year. Sabean you are given a lot more money than you spend. The money he spends is on players that dont help our team. This year we needed a power bat, he should have went out and got Dunn. Or atleast tried to go after him. In our stadium he would have hit atleast 45 hrs.

I am tired of not being in the playoffs, for as much as people wanted to get rid of Bonds, I would have loved to have had him in this lineup this year. Atleast he can hit the ball over the fence.

So basically, until Sabean/Bochy leave, hopefully everyone who likes winning seasons without anything to show for it REALLY likes it.
