Series Thread: San Francisco @ Philadelphia

We're getting Hamels 2-0 with every better yet we still can't get runners on. Well it doesn't help with the weak lineup we're fielding today.
Sanchez deserves a better lineup then this :/
Even with the weak lineup, WE are still in this.

I guess not.
well guys, i think it's safe to say that sanchez got his stuff figured out. the man's legit. it's about time, and i'm glad.

rough loss, but hopefully molina and sandoval will find their way into the lineup tomorrow. i'd settle for guzman or bowker as well (so long as the proper guy was sat on the bench... i'm looking at you rowand. and winn)

my only fathomable reasoning that rowand hit 3rd is so he'd get his spark back from his days in philly. didn't work in game 1.
Am i the only one that thinks that if bochy was the manager of the phillies he would of taken out hamels in the 9th when the leadoff guy reached base?
and then brought lidge in and probably lost the game?

it was depressing to watch
not 1 run from that minor league lineup we used
Bochy obviously doesn't think these games count too much :T

Really? What would you like him to do? He couldnt play Pablo or Molina because of injuries. His roster sucks to begin with but when you take out the top 2 power hitters on the team its pretty damn difficult.

I'd love to hear all the things you would have done if you were the manager. You obviously think you have more insight as to what should have been done.

You're the biggest Bochy apologist around here and it's getting quite annoying. Don't think you're the only guy who watches baseball. Any bonehead manager can call a bunt so don't think small ball stats can prove how much of an amazing manager Bochy is.

I don't know how injured Pablo is but from reports that I read, Molina could have gone today...for one. Second of all, I don't see why you don't have Uribe bunting when Garko gets a lead off double. Don't tell me it's about speed on the basepad. A good bunt in that situation puts a runner in scoring position. I'll digress on that point since it's not a definite move.

Schierholtz? Where the fukk is he? Bochy and his rightly lefty BS needs to stop. I'm so sick and tired of him making changes based on the R/L matchup. It's sickening to watch Garko and Schierholtz rot on the bench. I don't think *****y realizes that Nate is hitting .410 vs lefties this season with 3 of his 5 HRs. He could have hit 3rd for us tonight and moved Rowand back...again, why is he hitting 3rd? Winn has done absolutely ZERO for us this season from the right side of the plate. HOW IS THAT GOOD FOR US?

Anyway, I'm not going to go much further with this. Not too interested in a conversation about a baseball "manager."
LETS GO PENNY! BRING BACK THAT NL WEST MAGIC!

BTW, Torres was safe on that throw to 2nd. Another blown call that cost us this season.
Unless Penny pitches a shut out it will tough for SF to win tonight.

The bad lineup + bochey's consistent 'swapping' of players because he believes in his stupid numbers so much means it'll be tough for them to get two runs.
i think they have more guys on base now in the 2nd inning than all of last night. 2 on no outs, lets go gigantes
penny looks solid so far
penny is looking solid and that atbat was niceeeee

2 guys on no outs now..come on
