Bochy is an Idiot!

No.. Im thinking the idiot here isnt Bochy but the people thinking he is doing a bad job and should be fired. The guy has a team with a horrible lineup tied for the WC with 1 month to go.

Zito had thrown a lot of pitches last night and just gave up a homer to a lefty. It was time for him to go. Bochy made all the right moves but his relief pitchers did not do their jobs. He cant throw the pitches. I thought each move was right.

Are you ACNiner on the NinerZone? You seem to love to second guess Bochy as much as he does and wrong just as often.

To each their own GiantJohn, they are opinions and each opinion is different, doesn't make it wrong, just makes it different than yours. And no not ACNiner.

I understand that we can have different opinions but there is so much second guessing every night that simply isnt warranted. Bochy has this punchless team in the WC hunt and he has to get credit for that.

I just dont see all the guys who second guess every move making posts before the fact. Its so easy to play Monday morning quarterback.

I just want consistency out of Bochy. if he is consistent then I will take it. But when he plays by the book on offense but goes against with the pitching staff it drives me crazy. I personally would love to see a managerial and GM change and get the new style of front office and bench guys to not always go with veterans. you are paying these young guys so much in bounuses now what's the point of letting the risk injury in the minors. If you think they are good enough to give them the money play them up here like most MLB clubs do. My thing is get with the times. It works for every other team.

I dont disagree with much of what you say. Roster spots, the makeup of the team, and the decision as to who is called up is Sabeans. Trust me.. I would gladly see Bochy go if it was a package deal. I just want Sabean gone.

You are the typical fan that second guesses Bochy after every game, calls him an idiot, and then wont give him credit for the good job he is doing holding this team together. Why dont you post what Bochy should do BEFORE the results rather than second guessing everything.

I think from what I read since I returned today that the contributions here have become rote with little new insight.

The two interesting threads, This one and the "Clean House" thread are mildly provacative but the rest show the lack of interest in general, and the waning interest in this forum is proof that most fans come and go with their loyalty and roll with the continual gut punches.

In fact there isn't even a "Series Thread" posted yet so everyone has basically stuck the fork.

Face it SF, the fans just don't care enough to make the effort to clamor for any significant change to the current system of operation.

This is to the entire organization as a business entity which continues to misunderstand its customer base and the general sports climate in the town in which they play.

The lack of team effort in focus and planning of management both on the field and in the front office will always hinder the product and prevent us from achieving a title.

They are far to reactive rather than pro-active with their decisions to truely compete.
WOW BOCHY!

I guess scoring and avg of around 9 runs or so runs a game during the needed 3 game winning streak warrants a line-up change in the biggest game of the year. If it ain't broke don't fix it kind of thing? Don't mess with a winning streak kind of thing? Pull your head out of you know what kind of thing? What basbeall man messes with something that's working? You got it folks the manager of our beloved San Francisco Giants.
He isn't tweaking the pitching order either. So Friday it is Sanchez, Saturday, Penny then Lincecum. could have been Penny, Timmy and Zito. But I guessBochy knows best.
i dont understand why he feels it necessary to have renteria and rowand in the lineup. they have done nothing to warrant themselves playing time. i really feel they are both hurt more than they are letting on. renteria has sucked all year long minus a few hits and rowand has been terrible since he hurt his forearm. i would much rather see torres in centerfield, just as good as a fielder as rowand at this point in my opinion, and uribe at short. this would also help our lineup drastically. it seems we always lose when renteria is in the lineup.
