well this game was a little bit of bad luck and a lot of suck. who knows how the game goes if the ground ball from the 2nd batter of the game finds an infielder and turns into a double play, rather than a 3-run inning.

and poor nate. line drive off the pitcher gets caught for an out. how do you score that, pop out to 3rd? he won't receive any condolences from frandsen or bowker.

this game was needed, from a viewing standpoint if nothing else. far too stressful the past 7 games. now i'll be rested for the rockies. (and hey, now howry and valdez got some work in. maybe they wont be available to pitch the next 3 days)

im actually happy we got this out of our system now..
at least it wasnt the rockies that beat us like that
we saved our best players and pitchers so tomarrow we will do work boyyy

Pitching wise we are set up well for the Rockies. Talent wise its another story.

Sorry poncho. i was just upset at the loss and wasn't thinking straight. funny thing is i remember that vividly and how hilarious it was. anyway, back to the coloroado/sf thread. go G MEN!
