What would we have to give up to make this happen? Sheff might not be great for team chemistry, but he can still hit..

LOL.. Gary Sheffield is not the answer for this team unless the Mets waived him and they could get him for basically nothing. I believe that since he was pulled back off waivers and not immediately traded nothing can be done anyway. The last thing the Giants need is another over priced, aging player.

I agree with you. I was just pointing out that first we tried for this season and the earliest we would now have a shot at him would be in the offseason. I don't think he fits on this club. Hopefully our new GM will have an idea or two about the FA market.
