Bochy is not a good manager. He should realize that Martinez has pitched more than 5 innings what once? If that. We shoulda been happy with 5 innings and 3 runs.
Is that a football game or something? The pitching can't do it tonight.
horrible lost tonight

we cant lose games like this

un. accept. able.
Renteria my boy!
when does sanchez come back omgggg i miss him

and garko that was so dumb of u. ur not derek jeter
Down 3-2 now...

These games are heartbreakers. We should have won both of the first two...and now we might be losing 2 of 3.
C'mon Pablo. We needed to get that run in.

Oh well, I'm so disheartened right now. I'm ready to think about next season.
We gave got to have the lowest % of getting lead off doubles in.

yup its pretty much over now I don't think we got enough to drive in more runs in the 9 inning especially with our horrible bats like this. And timmy was left on for too long. I feel the same thing that this season is pretty much over I don't think we got enough bats to catch of 3.0 gb on the Rockies especially if our bats are like this in which we just barely get a run per game. Sorry for the pessimistic post but I just don't feel confident on our offense right now to take us through the playoffs. Hopefully on the offseason we get some bats that will complement our pitching.
this is unacceptable. even lincecum cant beat them. this team is a joke.

its been fun and exciting to see a few more wins than usual this year, but in the end, were still the same weak offensive team with nice young pitching thats going to complete waste.

best SP era AND RP era in baseball, and we field a lineup of guys who swing wet newspapers. kind of reminds me of the 2003 Dodgers. lowest team ERA in baseball, and lowest run production in baseball all at once.

is it so much to ask that we replace Jeff Kent's bat? its only been 7 years now. weve had 7 years to replace one good bat, and we cant do it. and now Bonds is gone too, guess what? we need TWO quality bats just to think about playoffs. funny thing happened the last time the Giants fielded 2 bats like Bonds and Kent. they WERE Bonds and Kent, and we went to the World Series.

the fact that pablo sandoval fell into our laps is a miracle. without him wed have a lineup that even minor league pitching could shut down.

all im saying is, weve known we needed some bats to start winning again, yet weve made little to no effort to get them. Freddy Sanchez and Ryan Garko are nice 2 and 7 hitters in a decent lineup, but the fact that we dealt one of our top tier pitching prospects for Sanchez, and another top 10 guy for Garko? come on. we needed a power hitting 1B and Ryan Garko is the best guy we could get? hes a platoon guy for crying out loud. hitting .330 off lefties, but only .251 off righties. and with his poor defense, Ishikawa is still getting half the playing time.

sometimes this team makes me so angry...

remember when Larry Krueger got fired for making racial related comments about the Giants "dead-brained carribean hitters hacking at slop nightly"? steering the comment towards a specific race wasnt right, but in an overall sense, he was very right. this team has so many undisciplined hitters hacking at the first pitch, and pitches in the dirt on a routine basis, its no wonder we cant score 3+ runs

everyone always says "focus on pitching, our park is built for it." i disagree. if your park is built for pitching, load up on hitting. good hitting. the better the lineup, the easier time we will be scoring runs. AT&T can make some pretty bad pitchers look decent with its deep walls and harsh winds knocking down homers.
sfg55 made a long post so im gonna do it too

i didnt read it all so i might say the same thing .. my bad :o

okay so we have gone to long without making a right move. okay.
we have made stupid moves by trading people who we just give up on. liriano?..nathan..david aardsma.. accardo..ect.

we need to finally make a move the same way we got bonds. sign someone. sign them to the deal they deserve. dont waste 70 million on guys who are below average and done. use that and get the young power guy we need.
Does sabean have any common sense when he signs guys like aurillia and rentaria to 3 year deals..dave roberts..ect.

our best move ever was signing bonds. who happened to be possibly the biggest free agent of his season. he was worth it i imagine.

sabes needs to realize that it doesnt matter if we have 20 cy youngs on our team, we wont win cuz we have no runs. whats the point of keeping teams to 2 runs every game of the year if we will score 1 if we get lucky.

sabes, get ur head out of ur ass and look at this from the view that everyone else sees.
no more playing around with signing people.

We have the young amazing pitching. Ok thats 75% of a championship team. we now need the hitters.

this oppurtunity is the best we have had in a long time. Who knows how long we will have cain and lincy pitching the way they are right now.

get the hitters NOW sabean.

Keep the velez's..the pablos..the sanchezs..nates..ect. lets build a team around pablo that can do damage.

with pablo and sanchez and (a hot) velez at the top of the lineup already..we just need to fill the holes. the cleanup hitter who protects pablo.

We need to be agressive and pull the trigger now. Lets sign lincy and cain to llong extensions. and pablo. then lets make something happen

Time is now giants!!!!!

i agree with you about nathan and aardsma, but liriano was dealt for a reason. obviously the Pierzynski for Nathan, Liriano, Bonser deal was horrible, but it was really Pierzynski for Nathan. Liriano has been so plagued with injury issues, i dont think even think he had a legit chance at a great career anyways. the Giants knew about his injury problems, and how they would probably ruin his career, and they were right.
Pandamonium may have to be put on hold for the Dbacks series. Taken out today in the 3rd due to some injury to his leg while swinging.
zito worked himself out of a serious mess right there. 1 - 1 and the offense is still MIA.
What a double play. WOW
