career to date:

25-5 with a 1.64 ERA, 241 K in 242 ip, 0.98 WHIP, with a 241/46 K to BB ratio

if this guy pans out we have the new big 3 in SF. Lincecum, Cain, Bumgarner. we'd be the LAST team anyone wanted to face in a playoff series.

during this seasons spring training, Bumgarner struck out Manny Ramirez on 3 pitches, and after the game when interviewed, Manny had this to say about Bumgarner:

"He's nasty. Unbelievable. He's got a fastball and a curveball. He's sneaky. He throws hard."

He's a great rookie to add to our epic lineup. Pretty quick we're gonna be unstoppable. Cant wait to see more of him on the mound. Wouldn't mind a date with him either
