Kevin Frandsen

What's the deal with this guy? I know he was supposed to be one of our top prospects a few years ago. He seems to be a fan favorite being a local kid and all, but I just don't understand the hype. It's kind of reminding me of how I waited so long for Pedro Feliz to be a decent player.
he makes good contact with the ball unlike Lewis..but he's had some real bad luck

i'd still give him some more AB's, instead of sending him up and down
Lets just get him out of here. He isnt worth a roster spot.
the only reason hes still around, is because our production from 2B has been awful
Put Posey at 2nd. Problem solved.
Missing that year really hurt him. I really thought he'd be a Grudzielanek type. Someone who would hit around 10 dingers a year, hit around .280-.290. But I guess that was just me being optimistic.

Posey just came up to Tripple A he is batting 227. He will get it going though.

I'm not really high on the guy myself.. I can't see games regularly so I don't see him hit.. All I see is that his average is incredibly low..
They need to give the guy two series in a row of starts. They haven't even given the guy an opportunity its a joke. I don't think Bochy and Sabean like him. Now they are going to give Downs a long look? Where's Frandsen's long look? Coming in for 1 at bat in a game that is meaningless? That is no way to see what the guy can do. He is getting the short end of the stick.
yeah im not a fan of him either, he was given opportunities and didn't make the most of it, can't say the giants didn't give him a shot.
The kid rakes in Triple A and once he gets to the majors somehow he fogets he knows how to play baseball. Lets trade for Freddy Sanchez give up Nick Nooonan and Henry Sosa and call it a day.Second base will no longer be a problem for the next year and a half.
frandsen tore it up in St couple years back and i thought he would be amazing
I still think he has really good potential...The best of any of our 2b prospects. He seems to always put the ball in play and hit the ball hard. I would love to see him get a couple week look of playing every day.
While I'm not big on Frandsen at all, I do find it strange that the Giants are so willing to let Downs play everyday, and not really give the same opportunity to Frandsen. Kinda seems like they've given up on him, which I can't really blame them, but Downs isn't exactly lighting the world on fire.
